Our Story
In 2021, our co-founders Alex and David were running a small startup. Despite having raised funding and building a great product, they nearly went under because of taxes.
A missed sales tax deadline led to $40,000 in penalties. They discovered they had nexus in 8 states they didn't even know about. And they left $200,000 in R&D credits on the table.
That's when they realized: if tax compliance was this hard for smart, well-funded founders, it must be impossible for everyone else. So they decided to fix it.
Today, Taxy helps over 12,000 startups stay compliant and save money on their taxes. We've identified over $2.4 billion in tax savings for our customers, and we're just getting started.
